Birth Workshops for Expectant Parents & Birth Partners

Join us for an active, hands-on workshop designed to help you feel prepared and confident about the experience of working together during labour and the birth of your baby.

During this fun, relaxed yet practical workshop you will actively explore and experience various movements, positions and props to see how they work in practice and discover what might be useful to you. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to meet other local new parents to be.

This workshop is suitable for all, regardless of yoga experience or whether you have attended my pregnancy yoga classes.

You Will Learn:

  • Active birthing practices and coping strategies
  • Use of props such as birth balls, tennis balls, scarves, chairs and the wall
  • Breathing techniques for labour and birth
  • Massage and calming touch
  • Gentle partner yoga

You will receive a pack of handouts for reference, all yoga props will be provided. Hot drinks will be available, along with light snacks to keep you going throughout the afternoon. A nourishing deep relaxation will round off the session.
