About hatha yoga classes

I teach weekly alignment-based hatha yoga classes in Herne Hill, suitable for all levels except complete beginners.

Each class begins with gentle breathwork to settle in and release the body and mind, leading in to stretching and strengthening work to prepare key muscles and joints for the main posture or postures.

A focussed exploration of the main postures is followed by a guided relaxation to round of the practice, leaving you feeling refreshed, energised and rejuvenated.

Mondays
9:00 – 10:15 am
8:00 – 9:15 pm
Classes are block booked by the half-term.

Please note: both classes are currently full. Contact me HERE to join the waiting list. I’m sorry but I am unable to accommodate drop-ins currently due to space restrictions.

Useful Information

  • Please bring a top mat and blanket with you to class, I provide bottom mats and all other yoga props, however feel free to bring your own if you wish.
  • Classes follow the school term schedule and run during term time only
  • Payment is non-refundable and missed classes are non-transferable.
  • No special clothing is required, just wear something loose and comfortable, with layers which can be added/removed as needed
  • We normally practice barefoot, however yoga socks or socks with a ‘gripper’ sole are fine
  • Tune-in to how you feel during your practice and adjust accordingly. Please make me aware of any injuries, aches or pains that you may have come in with, so I can offer modifications to help you get the most out of your practice
  • Yoga is non-competitive – always work to your measure in each class, knowing this may differ from week to week.
  • Feel free to contact me outside of class to let me know of any injuries or conditions as they develop, which may affect your practice
  • Mobiles are switched off in class unless there are special circumstances, in which case they can be kept on in silent mode. Please let me know if this is the case.
